1,196,750. Reinforced concrete floors. HANS HANSSON & CO. 22 Sept., 1967 [28 Sept., 1966], No. 43323/67. Heading E1W. A building has pre-cast reinforced concrete floor slabs 3, 4, directly supported on, e.g. hollow metal columns 2, 2', the internal slabs 4 being cantilevered into the lateral bays and supporting the adjacent edges of the external slabs, 3 on their free edges. The slabs 3, 4, have adjacent edges with upper and lower horizontally-extending flanges respectively, (Fig. 4B, not shown) the flange on each slab 4 being longer than the flange on slab 3 so that a rectangular bough is formed between the slabs, into which reinforcement projects from the slabs and is fixed to longitudinal reinforcement to form a reinforcing cage, the trough then being filled with concrete. Each slab/ column connection involves the use of a horizontal bracket 2a (Fig. 4A) and channels 12 through the slab into which concrete is cast to form the connection.
|
