PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator which increases power conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: When a driver circuit 5 receives a signal indicating that a load current iout is a predetermined value io1 or above from a load current determination circuit 6, a switching transistor M1 and a transistor M2 for synchronous rectification having small ON resistance, execute a switching operation, while a switching transistor M3 and a transistor M4 for synchronous rectification having large ON resistance, are turned off to be disconnected. When the driver circuit 5 receives a signal indicating that the load current iout is less than the predetermined value io1, from the load current determination circuit 6, the switching transistor M3 and the transistor M4 for synchronous rectification execute a switching operation, while the switching transistor M1 and the transistor M2 for synchronous rectification are turned off to be disconnected.
