PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control device for saving supply power to a main memory.

SOLUTION: In this computer system equipped with a CPU 1 and a main memory 2 which operate in a normal power mode or a power saving mode, a power source control part 3 which controls the power source supply of the main memory 2 is provided with a CPU monitoring part 6 for instructing the stop of power source supply to the main memory 2 when determining that the CPU 1 is shifted to the power saving mode based on the mode signal of the CPU 1, and for instructing the start of power source supply to the main memory 2 when determining that the CPU 1 is restored to the normal power mode, and configured to control power source supply to the main memory 2 based on the instruction.
