发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING WALL THICKNESS OF HIGH TEMPERATURE VESSEL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily measuring a wall thickness by an ultrasonic sensor, for properly determining a timing for repairing or replacing a sidewall of a galvanized vessel because of its fusion loss. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor 11 is made to travel along a sidewall top end of the galvanized vessel 1. The sensor 11 transmits a long-distance propagating ultrasonic wave from the sidewall top end to a direction orthogonal to a wall thickness direction of the sidewall, calculates the wall thickness of a sidewall inner surface based on a calibration formula from the amplitude of its reflected wave, obtains thereby a profile of the sidewall, and displays it on a display part 17.
