The kashkaval has an increased diversity of the taste qualities. It contains additives such as spices - cumin, savory, ground paprika, ground black and/or white pepper, crushed garlic, coriander, turmeric, white mustard, ginger, chilli, fenugreek and herbal spices - oregano, nettle, parsley, mint, dill, celery, basil, yellow and/or white St John's wort, chamomile, lime-tree blossom, herbal teas as sideritis, and crushed or whole nuts or seeds such as walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, peanuts, pistachio, apricot kernel, sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds, sesame, soy or combinations thereof. The total amount of the additives in the kashkaval is from 0.1 to 2.5%.
