<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an antibody enzyme having both of high molecular recognition ability of an antibody and enzyme activity, to provide the new antibody enzyme obtained by the production method, and to provide the antibody enzyme having a sterically specific structure applicable to the production method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the antibody enzyme includes an antibody structure-analyzing step for confirming the presence of a catalytic triplet residue structure having a serine residue, an aspartic acid residue, a histidine residue or a glutamine residue present so as to be adjacent as a three-dimensional structure in the three-dimensional structure of an antibody predicted from an amino acid sequence.
