A method and network equipment for establishing and deleting resource are disclosed, the method including: the first network unit informing the second network unit on the side of the network to establish a processing type of the resource for the user equipment, the second network unit establishing the processing type of the resource for the user equipment according to the processing type of the resource. The implementing examples of the invention solves the problem that the gateway unit on the side of network (the second network unit) can not identify different access requests (the initiation access request and the access request due to switching between access systems), thus it can not establish the relative resource corresponding to the identify different access request.
