PURPOSE:To facilitate automatic taping by moving a taping head according to a gearing belt of chain coping with a change in shape of coil placed on a table for winding an insulating tape on the tortoise shell shaped coil for a rotoelectric machine. CONSTITUTION:Chain guide rails 6A, 6B and roller guide rails 7A, 7B of a coil- type guide block 3 provided on a table 1 are extended or contracted to determine a size to cope with the linear part of a coil 4 to tape. Next, a slide table 8 provided for the shape of coil is moved to set a turning plate 14 formed thereon to an inclined angle of an end of the coil 4. Then, a chain 15 provided along the rails 6A and 6B is given a tension by means of a drawing mechanism 13, and the coil 4 is taped as moving and rotating a taping head 40 on the first and second trucks 31 and 34 mounted on the chain 15. |
