<p>PURPOSE: An air-conditioner and an operation method thereof are provided, which reduce discomfort of a user by preventing operation of the air-conditioner from being limited in the state that the power control impossible. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises one or more unit, a demand controller, and a remote controller. One or more unit comprises an outdoor unit(O) and an indoor unit(I,I1~I4). The demand controller generates the control command for controlling the electric energy consumed by the unit. The remote controller monitors and controls the operation of the unit. The remote controller controls the operation of the unit. The remote controller releases the demand control mode in the communications error by the demand controller. According to the exception establishment, the operation of the unit is controlled by the remote controller.</p> |
