<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has wear resistance effectively increased with a limited addition amount of filler, and at the same time has residual potential suppressed in increase, and thereby maintaining both of a long life and excellent printing quality, and to provide a method for the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a process of applying and forming a charge transporting layer as the outermost layer of a multilayer organic photoreceptor by a nozzle coating method, the number of revolution of a conductive support is kept at a given value or more in at least either a coating or leveling step to thereby distribute a filler having a larger specific gravity only in a photoreceptor surface with a high density by the effect of centrifugal force.
