<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gel-containing food and drink including flavor peculiar to gel. <P>SOLUTION: The gel-containing food and drink is provided with a first gel which contains insoluble minute substance derived from plant and has a prescribed shape, and a second component which contains the first gel. A gelling agent used for the first gel comprises at least one of glucomannan, gelatine, agar, carrageenan, xanthan gum, guar gum, tara gum, locust bean gum, gellan gum, pectin and alginate.
