<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight by reducing a gel agent used, and to effectively prevent vibration of electronic parts by external vibration by a gel-like resin material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This motor-driven compressor is provided so that a motor control chamber 33 having an opening upper surface is arranged in a metallic housing member 30 and a resin housing member 31, and the electronic parts 34, 35, 37 and 38 are stored in the motor control chamber 33, and the gel-like resin material 41 is filled in the motor control chamber 33 for storing the electronic parts 34, 35, 37 and 38, and an opening of the motor control chamber 33 filled with the gel-like resin material 41 is blocked up by a cover. A gel pressing-down part 40 for covering a partial area of the opening of the motor control chamber 33 is arranged in a position lower than the height of the motor control chamber 33 in the motor control chamber 33, and the gel-like resin material 41 is filled up to at least a position higher than a bottom surface of the gel pressing-down part 40.
