METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR METHANE FERMENTATION TREATMENT OF WOOD WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for methane fermentation treatment of wood waste which enable an efficient and stable methane fermentation treatment of lipid-containing food waste and enable recovery of much energy.

SOLUTION: The method of methane fermentation treatment of wood waste is based on subjecting food waste 20 having a proportion of a lipid in organic materials of≥10% to methane fermentation treatment in a methane fermenter 4. The lipid-containing wood waste 20 is crushed and sorted out in a pretreatment installation 1 and solubilized in an adjustment vessel 2, and a liquid waste 22 discharged from the adjustment vessel 2 is supplied to the methane fermenter 4 and subjected to methane fermentation treatment at a temperature of 40-45°C. The food waste preferably has a proportion of the lipid in the organic matter of 10-30%.
