CAMERA SHAKE CORRECTING MECHANISM, LENS BARREL AND IMAGING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized camera shake correcting mechanism, and thereby to obtain a small-sized imaging apparatus equipped with a lens barrel having a camera shake correcting function.

SOLUTION: The camera shake correcting mechanism includes: a first moving member that holds an imaging element or a prescribed lens and is capable of moving in a first direction; a first motor that moves the first moving member; a second moving member that holds the first moving member and is capable of moving in a second direction that is different from the first direction; a second motor that moves the second moving member; and a single detecting member that includes a light emitting and receiving section, wherein a section to be detected by the light emitting and receiving section of the detecting member is formed on the first moving member. Initial positions of the first moving member and the second moving member are detected by the section to be detected formed on the first moving member and the detecting member.
