Disclosed is a stabilizer system for stabilizing halogen-containing polymers against thermally induced degradation, comprising (a) at least one perfluoroalkanesulphonate salt and (b) at least one alkanolamine wherein the at least one alkanolamine has the formula (III), wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification.
