PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack generating no internal short circuit by preventing scattering of spatters inside an electrode group even when the spatters are generated in welding of a metallic connection member with a unit cell. SOLUTION: The metallic connection member 10 has a plurality of first protrusions 11a concentrically projecting toward the bottom surface of an outer can 21 of one unit cell 20a and a plurality of second protrusions 12c concentrically projecting toward a sealant 22 of the other unit cell 20b. A negative current collector 25 is welded to one end of an electrode group 23 housed in the outer can 21 and also electrically connected to the bottom surface of the outer can 21, and an opening (a burring hole) 25a and a slit are formed in the negative current collector 25 except a portion facing a concentric circle formed by the first protrusions 11a of the metallic connection member 10.
