The device (6) has a retainer (18) for detachably fastening a functional part (8) to a vehicle inner lining part (4) i.e. instrument panel, where the retainer is formed as a recess. A ventilation opening (20) is formed adjacent to the retainer. Vehicle interior is ventilated by a ventilation device through the ventilation opening. Adjustable air guiding devices (28, 30) are provided in the ventilation opening for closing the ventilation opening. The retainer and the ventilation opening are positioned on a one-piece support part (16) made of plastic. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle interior device comprising an inner lining part.
