PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated varistor excelling in a surge current withstand characteristic by not only effectively preventing occurrence of interlayer separation by improving adhesiveness between a ceramic sintered body having a nonlinear resistance characteristic and an internal electrode but also having the area of the internal electrode further large, in the laminated varistor. SOLUTION: This laminated varistor includes internal electrode layers alternately having external exposure parts, and laminated parallel to one another in ceramic sintered bodies each having a nonlinear resistance characteristic, and is characterized in that adhesiveness between the ceramic sintered bodies and the internal electrode layers is improved by forming holes connecting the upper and lower ceramic sintered bodies to the internal electrodes by limiting them to parts easily causing interlayer separation.
