PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a vehicular wiper device configured with a waterproof cap provided for a wiper pivot and the wiper pivot. SOLUTION: The waterproof cap 38 is configured separately from a main shaft holder 36 and the entire cap including a subsidiary shaft holder 64 is formed of resin. As the waterproof cap 38 and the subsidiary shaft holder 64 are formed of resin, therefore, the wiper pivot 16 and the vehicular wiper device 10 containing the wiper pivot 16 as well can be made lighter in weight compared to the wiper pivot integrally formed by aluminum die casting of the main shaft holder 36, the subsidiary shaft holder 64, and the waterproof cap 38.
