<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical shaping apparatus for shaping a three-dimensional model with improved accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An ultraviolet curable resin 36 is held in a storing container 34. A YZ stage 39 can move vertically to the surface of the ultraviolet curable resin 36. An optical system 31 forms a cured layer 41 on the YZ stage 39 by radiating ultraviolet rays on the surface of the ultraviolet curable resin 36 in the storing container 34. A new ultraviolet curable resin 36 is ejected from a nozzle 38 on the surface of the cured layer 41 formed on the YZ stage 39 before the next cured layer is laminated.
