PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a magnetic disk device, with which the number of particles inside the casing is effectively reduced. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the magnetic disk device, members inside the casing are electrically charged (S22), the electrically charged members are subjected to a shock (S23), and the particles inside the casing are sucked out via an opening formed on the casing (S24).
