A highly reliable inverter-integrated electric compressor enabling prevention of electromagnetic noise interference from a power system metal substrate on which a semiconductor switching element is mounted in a bare state and prevention of a malfunction of an inverter unit. In an inverter-integrated electric compressor (1) in which an inverter unit (19) is accommodated in an inverter accommodating portion (9) provided in a housing (2), the inverter unit (19) comprises an inverter module (20) formed by modularizing a power system metal substrate (22) on which at least a semiconductor switching element (25) is mounted in a bare state and a CPU substrate (23) on which a control communication circuit including an element such as a CPU that operates at a low voltage is mounted by means of a resinous case (21). The inverter module (20) includes a metallic shield plate (40) provided between the power system metal substrate (22) and the CPU substrate (23) and supported by the resinous case (21).
