An error correcting method for a steering neutral angle is provided to prevent incorrect correction of +/-6 ° oppositely in a steering neutral angle by using first and second steering angle sensors. An error correcting method for a steering neutral angle includes the steps of determining whether first and second steering angle sensors output signals(1,1) in response to interrupt generation(S10,S12), correcting the steering neutral angle by -6° if so(S14), determining whether the first and second steering angle sensors output signals(0,0) if the previous output signals are not(S16), correcting the steering neutral angle by +6° if so(S18).
