<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform correction processing suitable for an image when a color area of complementary colors is included in the image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing method executes first correction processing or second correction processing for an image. When a color followed by the execution of the second correction processing for a first color approximates an achromatic color as compared with the execution of the first processing and a color followed by the execution of the first correction processing for a second color approximates an achromatic color as compared with the execution of the second correction processing, the first correction processing or the second correction processing is selected according to a rate of the first color to the second color in the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
