<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part mounting method for obtaining stable alignment precision by excluding a change with the lapse of time in the alignment precision. <P>SOLUTION: In a part mounting apparatus, having a support stage for supporting a display panel and a transfer head for holding parts, a mark that becomes a positioning reference is determined for the display panel and parts for recognizing the mark of the display panel and that of the parts (S61, S71) in a mounting method for mounting parts to the display panel, it is determined whether the rotary direction of the display panel is aligned to that of the parts according to the recognition result (S73), the rotary direction of the parts is corrected until it becomes appropriate (S74-S76), then the amount of positional correction of X, Y in the parts is calculated (S77), alignment is performed by the movement of XY planes according to the calculated amount of positional correction of X, Y (S41, S42), and the parts are mounted on the display panel (S43). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
