PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straddle type vehicle having a display device improved in operability and visibility. SOLUTION: The straddle type vehicle includes a display portion 35 for displaying a vehicle state and a display operation portion 36 for switching a display content of the display portion 35. The display operation portion 36 is separated from the display portion 35. The display portion 35 is arranged behind a steering handle 7.
