A bidirectional switch is provided to perform a switching operation stably by reducing an accident frequency when supplying the unstable electricity. A bidirectional switch includes a housing(10), a permanent magnet(20), an electromagnet(30), and a shaft(40). The permanent magnet and the electromagnet are arranged in the inner structure of the housing. The shaft passes through the electromagnet. The housing is magnetized by the permanent magnet. The pole changing plate is arranged in both ends of the electromagnet. An R surface of the permanent magnet is formed in a pair of upper edges vertical to the moving direction of the pole changing plate. The shaft is fixed in the electromagnet. If the power is supplied to the electromagnet, the electromagnet and the shaft move with attractive or repulsive force between the pole changing plate, the permanent magnet, and the housing.
