A method and an apparatus for automatically linking to get linked information of a webpage are provided to enable a user to easily obtain related information about a corresponding word even though the user sees any site or any page, thereby enabling the user to quickly access and search to the related information. A keyword additional information guide program is downloaded from a predetermined central server(S410). At least one keyword is received from the central server according to the downloaded program(S420). When a website is accessed, it is determined whether words matched with the received keyword exist(S430). When the matched words exist, the words are distinguishably displayed from other words(S440). It is determined whether a mouse pointer is placed on the words(S450). When the mouse pointer is placed on the words, additional information corresponding to the keyword is received from the server and displayed(S460). |
