WHEEL-CHAIR FOR DISABLED PEOPLE

The invention pertains to private vehicles and can be used for autonomous travelling of disabled people. Manual control of a self propelled wheelchair is implemented through the instrumentality of reciprocating movement of armrests and control handles, like turning a bicycle handle bar.The self propelled wheelchair has a load-bearing frame with a seat, a back, and a foot rest. The load-bearing frame is supported by rear wheels, one of which is equipped with an electric drive, as well as by fore swivel wheels controlled by means of the armrests placed on special devices, which transform their reciprocating movement into synchronous wheel turns. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is presented in six figures.
