<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for sign which allways displays appropriately a desired logo even during the daytime without causing a sense of incongruity while taking the advantage of a light source exposing type. <P>SOLUTION: A number of light sources 2 each having an LED 8 and an optical lens 9 arranged on a luminous side of the LED 8 are arranged on a fixing panel 3 in a matrix, and each light source 2 is composed by exposing part of a lens 9 to the outside through an opening 3a formed on the fixing panel 3. In the lens 9, the part where no light is made incident from the LED 8 in the surfaces facing the LED 8 is colored with paint 16 of approximately the same color as the surface color of the fixing panel 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
