PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft jaw molding tool capable of performing external setup when molding a soft jaw. SOLUTION: The soft jaw molding tool 20 is provided with a disk shaped tool body part 21. The tool body part 21 is provided with a first surface confronting a chuck body side of a machine tool, a second surface 21b for attaching the soft jaw, and an outer peripheral surface 21c formed on a chuck of a chuck body so as to be clamped. The second surface 21b is provided with three T-shaped grooves 22 radially arranged from a center position, and a pair of boss parts 23 confronting the respective T-shaped grooves 22. A serration 24 is formed on the respective boss parts 23, and forming the center for positioning the soft jaw is facilitated. After attaching the soft jaw to the soft jaw molding tool 20 in external setup, the soft jaw molding tool 20 is attached to the machine tool. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
