A media skew correcting apparatus is provided to perform transfer and determination of the media by correcting media skew. A pair of frame boards(10) is installed at predetermined interval. A power transferring unit(16) is provided in the frame boards and transfers driving force of a driving source. A first and a second clutches(24,24') are installed at the respective frame board and selectively transfers the power transferred through the power transferring unit. A first and a second feed roller(28.28') are respectively installed at a first and a second driving axes which are individually rotated by the driving force. A media is transferred by the rotation of the first and the second feed rollers which are contacted with both ends of the media. A first and a second idle rollers(32,32') are provided correspondingly to the first and the second feed rollers and transfer the media together with the first and the second feed rollers.
