Provided is an oscillation type actuator which can stably drive a moving body even when a groove is formed in a contact body by friction with a driver. An ultrasonic actuator (2) includes: an actuator body (4) which performs a longitudinal oscillation and a bending oscillation; and drivers (8a, , 8b, ) which are arranged on a mounting surface (40a) as one of the side surfaces of the actuator body (4) and perform a circular movement following the oscillation of the actuator body (4) so as to output a drive force. The drivers (8a, , 8b, ) include first drivers (8a, 8a, ) and second drivers (8b, 8b, ) arranged at different positions on the mounting surface (40a) in the longitudinal direction of the actuator body (4). The first drivers (8a, 8a, ) and the second drivers (8b, 8b, ) are located at different position in the thickness direction of the actuator body (4).
