PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of accuracy due to the spring-back on holding a workpiece by operating a diaphragm through a turning lever and holding and fixing the workpiece by a finger after the diaphragm is a little opened in the final closing state of the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm/finger chuck opens and closes the chuck of a center holding diaphragm 4 and turns and advances and retreats a finger 15 for the press-attachment onto a stopper 19 at the edge surface of a workpiece, through the operation of a piston 9 built-into the cylinder 3b of a chuck body 3. Further, the diaphragm chuck is equipped with a turning lever 11 which is pivotally supported onto the chuck body 3 inside the diaphragm 4 and turned by the piston 9 and presses the center side of the diaphragm 4 in the vicinity of the turning center when the diaphragm 4 is opened, and is equipped with a dog 13 which is installed at the piston rod 9a edge of the piston 9 and engaged with the turning lever 11 at the terminal edge where the pressing pressure of the diaphragm 4 is released and a little turns the diaphragm 4 in the pressing direction. |
