PURPOSE:To provide a material excellent in thermal and physical impactness which is suitable for the use of a skid button reducing the generation of the skid mark on a steel slab heating furnace such as walking beam type heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:This material is an agglomerating body composed of Al2O3-Cr2O3 sintered body containing 100-40wt.% Al2O3, 0-60wt.% Cr2O3 and <=1.5wt.% TiO2, and composed of Al2O3-Cr2O3 matrix having dense and fine structure and a second phase dispersed in the matrix and having 10-200mum size, and containing controlled fine cracks in the matrix and composed of uniformly mixed material of the matrix with unstable zirconia in the dispersed second phase. |
