An apparatus for changing the direction of a display panel of a thin type television and moving the display panel up and down is provided to minimize the eye fatigue according to the location of a viewer, provide the best picture quality, and allow the viewer to view a broadcast program at a desired angle. A forward/backward angle adjusting member(100) is mounted on a rear surface of a display panel and includes a forward/backward adjusting unit(130) rotated in a forward/backward direction of the display panel by the first driving unit(110) to adjust a forward/backward angle of the display panel. A screw unit is rotated by the second driving unit and disposed to be perpendicular to the display panel. A vertical movement member(200) is mounted on the rear surface of the display panel, and includes a moving unit with a screw part in mesh with the thread of the screw unit. As the screw unit is rotated by the second driving unit, the moving unit is moved up and down to make the display panel move up and down. A left/right angle adjusting member(300) is mounted on the rear surface of the display panel, and includes a left/right adjusting frame rotated in a horizontal direction of the display panel by the third driving unit to adjust a horizontal angle of the display panel.
