<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-oriented electrical steel sheet whose high frequency core loss is low in such a manner that W<SB>10/1k</SB>surely reaches <53(W/kg) even in a non-oriented electrical steel sheet having a high Mn content, and to provide its production method. <P>SOLUTION: The non-oriented electrical steel sheet has a componential composition comprising, by mass, ≤0.005% C, ≤0.1% P, 1.5 to 5% Si, 1 to 5% Mn, 0.1 to 3.0% Al, ≤0.02% S and ≤0.005% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and in which the number of Fe-Mn-based carbides with the diameters of 0.05 to 0.5 μm precipitated over ferrite boundaries is ≤5,000 pieces per mm of the length of the boundary, and has a tensile strength of ≤650 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
