PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid machine securing a slide-contact property while improving durability of a seal ring, and to improve reliability of back pressure mechanism. SOLUTION: The seal ring 64 is constituted of an intermittent slide-contact part 72 in which a communication groove 68 is intermittently positioned on a slide-contact surface 64a, and a constant slide-contact part 74 in which a slide-contact surface is continuously brought into contact with a back surface 44. The slide contact surface 72d in the intermittent slide-contact part is higher in hardness compared with the slide-contact surface in the constant slide-contact part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
