<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit and a control method of the image processing unit capable of quickly displaying a message related to a mode which is likely to be used by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing unit can employ a plurality of different operational modes, can transfer to a sleep mode turning into a power-saving state, and is characterized by comprising: an operational mode storage means for storing a predetermined operational mode; a manuscript detection means for detecting a manuscript which motivates the sleep mode to be relieved; and a display screen selection means for selecting a display screen displaying in an operation panel depending on the operational mode stored by the operational mode storage means when a user operation is detected by the manuscript detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
