An automatic umbrella is provided, which stretches or folds by the operation unit prepared in a handle. An automatic umbrella(1) is spread and folded by the elastic force of the main spring(3) which is built inside the umbrella handle(2). The upper member(6) is united with the upper end of the umbrella handle in which the handle(4) equipped with the operation unit(5) is formed at the bottom. The lower member(7) ascending and descends along the umbrella handle is united with the bottom of the upper member. A main spring coming into contact with the hanging protrusion(8) which is protruded to the inner side of the umbrella handle is installed inside the umbrella handle. The main spring is pressurized by the spring pressurization unit(9) formed in the handle.
