The present invention relates to a gas cooking household appliance provided with at least two gas burners (Bl, B2, B3,B4). The household appliance comprises: a general automatic valve (VG); at least two individual automatic valves (V1, V2,V 3, V4). The household appliance comprises an electronic safety system (EL), which detects undesired flow of gas through detectors (R1,R2,R3,R4) and is able to shut the general automatic valve (VG), and generate an alarm signal to the user. The electronic safety system (EL) is able to carry out a cyclically procedure to verify the proper operation of said individual automatic valves (V1, V2, V3, V4) and of said general automatic valve (VG). The automatic valves (VG, V1, V2, V3, V4) can be of electromagnetic and/or piezoelectric type. The detectors (R1,R2,R3,R4) can detect the pressure difference or the displacement/position of an adjusting device in the associated automatic valves (VG, V1, V2, V3, V4). |
