PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile imaging apparatus which can extract an image picked up easily while preventing pick-up miss of an image. SOLUTION: The mobile imaging apparatus includes a camera section 2 for picking up the image on the outside of a vehicle, a section 8 for detecting the position of the vehicle, a display 11 for displaying the map around the current position, a touch panel 13 for selecting a position on the map, and a memory 4 for storing the image pickup results obtained from the camera section 2 in association with the map wherein the display 11 displays the imaging range stored in the memory 4 while superposing on the map, and displays the image pickup results corresponding to a position in the imaging range selected on the touch panel 13.
