Injection molded brush production, for a bottle top, feeds continuous bristle fiber material into the molding cavities for injection of a local bonding material and the holder

To produce brushes in an injection molding machine (1), with a number of cavities, a bristle material (2) is fed in using a number of continuous bristle fibers (3). In a preliminary cavity (4), the bristles are bonded together locally by injected material around them. In the final cavity (8), material is injected with a holder to embed the bristles and then cut them from the continuous fibers.
