PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the connection of a radio LAN by a simple operation by a user even between an access point corresponding to any simple connection setting and a terminal. SOLUTION: A program is recorded so as to correspond to respective systems of simple connection setting in the terminals 20, 30 and 40, and the system of the simple connection setting that the access point 50 corresponds to is detected by detecting an information element outputted from the access point 50. Then, the connection setting of the radio LAN is executed using the detected simple connection setting. Thus, even if the access point 50 is the one which corresponds to any simple connection setting, the connection setting is executed between the access point 50 and the terminals 20, 30 and 40 by the simple operation by the user.
