<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device which radiates strobe light at an appropriate irradiation angle. <P>SOLUTION: The stroboscopic device has: an irradiation angle changing means to change the irradiation angle of the strobe light; information input means S103, S104, S108 and S109 to input the focal length information of a lens and the aperture size information of a camera by communication with the camera; first control means S109 to S114 to perform first control for changing the irradiation angle based on the focal length information and the aperture size information; second control means S111 to S114 to perform second control for changing the irradiation angle only based on the focal length information without depending on the aperture size; and an irradiation angle changing operation selection means S108 to select the second control, which is switched from the first control, in environment unrelated to the aperture size information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
