<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device where toner is not partially retained in a developing vessel, the toner is sufficiently uniformly dispersed in the longitudinal direction inside the vessel, and the formation of an image with high quality can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing device 30, a developing vessel 34 includes a stirring/carrying member 50 for performing the stirring and carrying of toner. The stirring/carrying member 50 includes: an axis part 51 so as to be the center of rotation; and a sheet-shaped stirring blade 52 fixed to the axis part 51 in a form of elongating from the axis part 51 to the outside in the radial direction, and further, at least either region of both the edge parts in the axial direction includes a deflection part X carrying the toner from the edge part side toward the inside in the axial direction, and the other region includes a stirring part Y uniformly dispersing the toner in the axial direction. Thus, in the vicinity of the edge part in the longitudinal direction on the side of the deflector part X within the developing device 34, the amount of the toner can be made relatively small, and, in the stirring part Y as the region such as the central part in the longitudinal direction other than that, the toner can be uniformly stirred and moved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
