A phase modulator relates to radio engineering, in particular to systems for shaping transmitting signal and may be used in receive – transmit devices, and also in digital automatic systems for control of signal quality. The modulator comprises connected in series an input adder, multiplier, an intermediated adder, a delaying element and a comparator. Two inputs of the input adder are inputs for carrier frequency signal; the third input is input for inverting signal and connected with the input of the delaying element. The second input of the multiplier is input for X input signal, the second input of the intermediated adder is connected with output of the delaying element. Comparator inverting input is input for x carrier frequency signal, comparator output is output for Y output signal. Double summation of input signal, delay of intermediate signal and recurrence summing provide work stability of the device. Moreover, modulator distinguishes with simplicity of realization. |
