摘要 Variations in pressure of a pneumatic tire on a vehicle with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) are estimated, without using additional instrumentation, by determining a spring constant K for the wheel while it is in rolling motion by determining angular velocity of the wheel, and then processing timestamp data for the wheel according to a derivative-free formulation of a nonlinear Kalman filter to estimate a spring constant K for the wheel and using variations in the spring constant K to estimate variations in pressure of the tire.
