<p>A paper feed system for a small size "desk-side" paper shredder provided with a plurality of cutting blades (11) and with an electric motor (15) for actuation of the cutting blades (11) is disclosed. The paper feed system comprises at least a lid (1) placed on the upper part of the paper shredder and linked thereto by one or more hinges (3), the lid (1) being able to take an open position, which allows a user to insert in the upper part of the paper shredder a certain amount of paper rolled into a ball (C), and a closed position, so as to form a slot (5) functioning as feed slit for insertion of flat sheets of paper inside the paper shredder.</p> |
