The device has a housing base part (2), and a housing pivot part (4) pivoted around a pivot axis from a closing position, in which tools (1) e.g. nuts, are not taken, to an opening position, in which the tools are taken. A die carrier (5) pivots from a storing position into a removal position during opening the base and pivot parts, where the die carrier includes retaining devices (6) i.e. retention holes, for retaining the tools. The retaining devices of the die carrier, which is controlled at the pivot part, align with vision openings (7) of the pivot part in the closing position.
